Hazara Genocide Continues: Brutal Attack on Hazara Community in Pol-e-Khomri, Baghlan

BAGHLAN, Afghanistan - In a tragic and deadly attack on a Hazara mosque in Pol-e-Khomri, Baghlan, the Hazara community continues to be subjected to horrifying violence. This latest incident, perpetrated under the rule of the Taliban, serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing Hazara Genocide. While the world’s attention is elsewhere, the Hazara people’s suffering persists.

On Friday, October 13, 2023, a group of armed assailants stormed a Hazara mosque in Pol-e-Khomri, Baghlan, opening fire on worshippers and detonating explosive devices. The attack left at least 20 people dead and 50 others injured, many of whom are in critical condition. Tragically, the death toll may rise as the is no medical aid for the Hazara under the rule of the terrorist group Taliban.
